10 Times We Came Close To Nuclear War

With the world’s nuclear-armed states possessing a combined total of roughly 16,000 nuclear warheads, the possibility they may one day be used represents a real and growing danger. In this respect, the message behind Dr. Matthias Rath’s landmark Make Health – Not Waropen letter, published in the New York Timeson February 2, 2003, remains just as relevant today as it ever was. In order for a truly healthy world to become possible, it is essential that we put pressure on our political leaders to commit to the restoration of global peace and abolition of nuclear weapons. For, as Albert Einstein once said: “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
