The Movement of Life Uganda workshop on Cellular Medicine and the School Health Parliament project, August 2018

The Movement of Life gardening project in Uganda is growing continuously! These pictures document a Cellular Medicine workshop session attended by its volunteers. The volunteers learned that a chronic lack of vitamin C is the primary cause of cardiovascular diseases. The workshop was also a great opportunity for them to meet and to get to know each other. Together, they set up long-term goals towards increasing the number of schools taking part in the School Health Parliament gardening project.

The School Health Parliament project involves growing fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants. Read more about this project and download our materials for free by visiting the For Schools section of our website.
