Since 2014 the Movement of Life Uganda team has planted more than 20,000 fruit trees in support of our ‘End Heart Disease: Plant a Fruit Tree’ campaign. A global project coordinated by the Dr. Rath Health Foundation and inspired by Dr. Matthias Rath’s lifesaving medical breakthrough, the aim of this campaign is to educate people how heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular problems are primarily caused by a long-term lack of vitamin C. Fruits are good sources of vitamin C. This means that the widespread planting of fruit trees and eating fruits can help save lives!
Having already planted more than 20,000 fruit trees in support of this exciting campaign, our Movement of Life Uganda team is now aiming to plant a further 30,000 trees by the end of December 2022 – thus taking their overall total to an impressive 50,000 trees. Keep an eye on our website for updates on their progress!
