The Movement of Life Malawi team is currently preparing for the fruitful rainy season. They are making their own compost manure from locally found materials such as dry hay; straw; fresh banana stocks; manure from pigs, cows or poultry; ashes and water. Composting aids the natural slow release of nutrients to the crops, as well as building a good soil structure. In return for their efforts, the team members are looking forward to harvesting an abundance of micronutrient-rich fruits and vegetables.
